It's SATAY-DAY again.
However, recent happenings in Singapore have made the overall mood rather sombre as we bade farewell to a beloved actor who passed on during national duty. We are just a week from the lunar new year so it's particularly emotional. Personally I've wept quite a bit of tears over the incident, so I can hardly imagine the heartbreak for his family and friends.
Hold your loved ones close, be more generous with your declarations of love, show up to your easy promises of "we'll catch up soon!". Growing old is a privilege, not a given.
